Mary McCartney, the daughter of Paul McCartney, has revealed that she freaked out when she was asked to do a portrait of Queen Elizabeth.
“I was more scared than ever,” said Mary, who, according to Daily Mail Plus, took the Queen’s photos to mark Britain’s longest-reigning monarch.
“I was waiting in a corridor of the palace when in my mind I had this kind of nervous out-of-body moment,” the publication quoted the 52-year-old as saying.
On February 6 this year, the Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people.
The Platinum Jubilee of Elizabeth II is celebrated in 2022 in the Commonwealth to mark the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne on 6 February 1952. Buckingham Palace formally unveiled the full celebration plans on January 10, 2022.
