Meghan Markle supporter Omid Scobie has received criticism for branding Prince Andrew and his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as part of the Netflix cast. Bridgerton.
Mr Scobie shared a photo of Prince Andrew and his family from Beatrice’s 18th birthday, with the caption, “‘I’m gonna tell my kids this was Bridgerton.’
The birthday party had the 1880’s Victorian theme.
However, Scobie instantly deleted the post, and many insiders suspect their latest work collaboration was the reason. The author of Finding Freedom has signed a new content partnership with Yahoo! News.
Body language expert Jesús wrote: “I understand Omid. He tried to play the ‘cool chad’ card by making actual memes. “The problem is IF his bosses allow it. That’s why he deleted the tweet.
“But for a Rogue Royalist like yours who serves no master… memes know no boundaries.
“I guess… I found freedom?”
Other YouTubers joined the bandwagon in poking fun at Mr. Scobie.
“I didn’t think it was funny at all,” wrote one.
“As someone who calls himself a real reporter, you would think he has some history (sic) Bridgerton is set in the regency era of 1814, different dresses, the ones Sarah and her daughters are wearing are 1880s fashion …”. another added.
