“Pirates of the Caribbean” star Johnny Depp denied physically abusing Amber Heard when he took the stand as a witness Tuesday in his ex-wife’s libel trial.
Depp took the witness stand after testimony from a member of his security detail, Sean Bett, and Keenan Wyatt, who worked as a sound engineer on many of his films.
Both men testified that they had never seen Depp be violent in any way.
“I’ve never seen Johnny abuse anyone,” Wyatt said.
Bett said he had seen Heard throw a “water bottle or plastic cup” at Depp.
Previously, Johnny Depp denied physically abusing Amber Heard.
“There were arguments and things of that nature, but I never got to the point of hitting Miss Heard in any way,” Depp told the jury hearing the case in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia.
“I have never hit a woman in my life either,” he said. (AFP/Web Desktop)
