Priyanka explained that Chopra is a common name and they are not related. The embarrassed comedian issued a public apology on TikTok, still refusing to learn Priyanka’s name and referring to her as “Chopra’s wife”.
Priyanka responded to this with her Instagram story and wrote a long note on how each individual deserves to be respected for who they are rather than being reduced to who they are associated with.
He said a simple Google search would help before apologizing to the public. “If you want to make a public apology for a very awkward private encounter, it’s probably best to google my name or even try to reach out directly before doing so.”
