While CNN Plus has already sped through the ir90 Doomed Streaming Services scales in record time, somehow managing to shave another two days off its lifespan. Discovery of Warner Bros. originally announced that the streaming video news service would shut down on April 30, but digital trends reports that subscribers have received an email confirming that the actual end date is April 28.
That is confirmed by this support pageand it seems to line up for subscriptions, which started on March 28 before CNN Plus launched the next day, do not spend a month and charge someone a second time. This sounds like something executives might have checked before announcing the end of CNN Plus, but these are unprecedented times.
The email and FAQ also explain that subscribers will be refunded their full subscription amount, but that after April 28 (tomorrow), “CNN Plus daily and weekly shows, Talk Club and the On-demand library of CNN Original Series and Movies will no longer be available.”
A reminder that all streaming services are on the Go90 scale of doomed streaming services; the only question is where do you rate 0-90 with 90 doomed
