Mumbai, April 28: Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet. That saying fits perfectly with the young cricketer Shashank Singh of Sunrisers Hyderabad who has been honing his skills and waiting patiently for his chance in the Indian Premier League since 2017.

He made his debut against Chennai Super Kings at Dr. DY Patil Stadium on April 9, but did not get a chance to bat. And when he finally got the chance against the Gujarat Titans on Wednesday, the 30-year-old batsman wowed the cricketing world with his impeccable six-hit skills.
