Amy Schumer has come forward to address alleged claims of stealing a joke about Leonardo DiCaprio at the 2022 Oscars.
During an appearance on See what happens live! with Andy CohenThe comedian, host of the 94th Annual Academy Awards, has responded to claims that one of her jokes during the Oscars monologue was stolen from Twitter.
“Okay. Well, I’d like to say that I personally haven’t been on Twitter,” Schumer was quoted as saying by Variety. “I asked my assistant to do it, just so I could stay alive and not kill myself. And also, that joke was written by Suli McCullough. But I thank you guys, always, for making sure I don’t start stealing.” .”
